Cadmore End News; October.
Brass Band Concert.
Over 70 people, both from within the Village and many from further afield, attended a very successful and enjoyable Brass Band Concert (a first?) by “Quintessential Brass” held in the church on Friday 23rd Sept. We were treated to an eclectic mix of musical numbers ranging from the Renaissance to present day Contemporary. We are indebted to Simon Davie the Compere, to Bea Taylor from Stokenchurch who was instrumental in organising it together with Janet, Carolyn and Tanya from The Village. The Net profit which will go to towards the Church Roof Fund was in excess of £650(after payment to the Band) Excellent! and many thanks to all involved.
Forthcoming Events

From Barbara Ewing Lane End Organiser “Last week at Friday, Saturday foodbank we helped some very tearful families with modest sums of money to pay their utility bills, school clothes and 1 foodbank man had to go to Moorfields since he is losing his sight in 1 eye. It is a serious situation but he hopes he will be able to continue work even with 1 eye. We paid for his train journey up to London since they are seriously struggling with money and paying council tax arrears.”.
