In May -We have appreciated sunshine, green leaves, bluebells, and fast growing flowers, plants and grass! Together with the three village events below.
Village Tidy Up Saturday 27thMay - Our thanks to the 19 who attended who carried out strenuous work in the churchyard transforming it to a really tidy place.
AGM of the Little Common, Cadmore End Residents Association 24th May
This was attended by 26 residents and there were 15 apologies. The prompt minutes circulated the day after set out the proceedings. Our thanks to this Committee who will be joined by Lilli May, elected at the meeting.
Coronation Picnic Sunday May 7th-held on the Common was attended by 50 people with ages ranging from 11months to 90. A quiet and friendly social to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles the third.

Sunday 2nd July Musical Picnic 5pm to 8pm, with Bar and Raffle in aid of the roof fund. Local covers band “Against All Odds”. Please bring your own picnic etc. Tickets £10 and children free. Tickets and details from

Community Matters Food Bank, Lane End
Dates for June are Thursdays 8thand 22nd. Please leave donations in the church on these dates or up to 10am on the Friday after when we deliver to Lane End. Our donations continue to be a much needed and gratefully received. Some good news that two clients have found jobs meaning two families no longer seek support.
