Village Hall Survey-Our thanks to the 33 who completed the Survey.  The results showed 91% had used the Hall in the last 12 months and would like to see it kept in good repair.  There were many suggestions on its future use and development which the Village Hall Committee will be following up and have 17 volunteers for the working party on Saturday 13th May.  Our thanks to Andrew Macaulay who has recently joined the Committee for setting up this online survey and collecting the results.  These will be circulated to those who responded.

Spring-After a very cold February and very wet March plenty of signs from nature that spring is coming at last.  A morning walk to Hangar Wood has become a birdsong safari with migrant birds returning including Chiff Chaffs and Skylarks with “home birds” Robins, Thrushes and Blackbirds all singing.

Churchyard Mowing-Grateful if another 2/3 people could join our “Merry Mowers” team.  Another “Ride On” would be good for the larger areas as well as smaller mowers.  We cut the grass May to November and work in two teams mowing alternate months. Please contact Clifford if you are able to help.
