The Donations from Cadmore End are greatly appreciated.  The dates for our next two deliveries are Friday 16th February and Friday 15th March.  Please leave your contributions un the church or church porch on the Thursday before or up to 10.00am on the Friday.  The report below shows how the support team distributes donations:

“Over this past week (Thursday, Friday Saturday) Barbara Ewing and Lucy Smith and the small team of volunteers invited 22 families to our foodbank.  Altogether we now help 25 families or households who have been referred to us.  As always, the families come in separately to choose the items they like best and then sit with us by a warm radiator in the church to tell us their news and stories, many of which are difficult emotionally to hear.  But we are good listeners and give them empathy, some financial help if needed, sometimes a prayer, and big hugs as they leave.  Those who do not have transport are then driven home with their heavy bags by our 2 volunteers.
